Lesson 13 Complementary Color Gels

This photograph was the inspiration to try to replicate the lighting.  Shannon found two gels that were almost complimentary and we gave it a try.  To see and interactive complementary color wheel go here.

Here is a good video explaining high-speed sync.  He uses the 580EXII with the Pocket Wizard Mini TT1 and Flex TT5 which we have in the cage.  During class we are using the Canon ST-E3-RT and Canon 600EX speedlite which has radio control built in. At 1:03 is an explanation of 1st and 2nd curtain and at 3:30 is an demonstration of how the system works.
